Josh allegedly admitted to Anna’s murder during an argument over his failed relationship with Anna’s boyfriend.

According to the reports, Anna was in her second year of college in early 2012 and living at home with her family.
Anna spent Valentine’s Day with her boyfriend, and things seemed normal until the next morning when her mother, Paula, left the house to run some errands. About an hour later, she returned to the gruesome murder scene in her home.
Anna was found dead in the kitchen, lying in a pool of blood. With Anna’s dead body, she also found bloody footprints, handprints and drag marks in the house, suggesting a fight between Anna and her killer.
However, no sign of a break-in was found, but the attacker used Anna’s car to escape from the crime scene.
According to WSFA 12 News reports, Anna was first shot three times, twice in the back and once in the shoulder, then tried to escape through the kitchen, but was probably caught by her killer and dragged back inside, where Anna deadly. shot to the back of the head, last shot that killed her.
After the investigation, her boyfriend, Josh Caspari, was arrested for Anna’s murder case.

During an extensive search of Caspari’s house, the investigator found 59 incriminating items that had been taken as evidence.
The evidence included bloody clothing, an identical weapon to the one used in the murder, illegal steroids and $20,000 in cash.
Josh later told the police that he and his roommate Cody were looking to break into the home of a retired police officer Larry Mann.
