Jack Black (53) will soon see his film colleagues again! It’s been around 20 years since “School of Rock” flickered across the screens. In 2003, the music comedy thrilled millions of viewers around the world and developed into an absolute cult film. Meanwhile, the child stars of the film are grown – and will soon apparently meet: main actor Jack now revealed that the “School of Rock” cast will celebrate an anniversary party!

In conversation with ETthe 53-year-old spoke excitedly about reuniting with his former co-stars: “We will meet and celebrate a 20th anniversary. […] I’m looking forward to seeing all the adults from School of Rock.” For him it is inconceivable that the kids from back then are all grown up now. “All these kids – listen to this – were 10 years old when we made the film and they’re all in their 30s now,” marvels the film star.

Two years ago, the cast of the film received shock news – Kevin Clarkwho played drummer Freddy aka Spazzy McGee on “School of Rock”, died in a bicycle accident at the age of 32. Also Jack mourned a lot. “It’s shocking news. […] My heart is broken,” he wrote under one Instagram-Post Office.
