The Aerosmith rockers say goodbye to the stage. In 1970 the band formed, which today consists of Steven Tyler (75), Joe Perry (72), Brad Whitford, Joey Kramer (72) and Tom Hamilton, delivered numerous unforgettable hits and has gathered numerous fans around them in their 53 years of band history. Most recently, however, singer Steven had to deal with health problems and is also confronted with allegations of abuse. Now the musicians want to call it quits: Aerosmith announces farewell tour.

“I think it’s about time,” explained joe across from Associated Press After all, all band members are over 70. The big “Peace Out” tour starts on September 12 in Philadelphia and ends after 40 more concerts on January 26, 2024 in Montreal. “It’s kind of a chance to celebrate 50 years that we’re out here. You never know how long everyone has sanity to do that.”, emphasizes the guitarist. The rock stars can’t wait to finally tour again.

But although the band describes the upcoming tour as a farewell tour, the members are probably not ready to retire completely afterwards. “It’s the last farewell tour, but I have a feeling it will go on for a while. But I don’t know how many times we will return to the same cities. It could very likely be the last time,” the frontman explained steven.
