The third season of The Mandalorian, starring Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, premieres March 1 on Disney+. Jon Favreau has already confirmed that he’s also written season 4, but that’s not the end of the Mandalorian’s story…

Disney and its affiliates

After The Book of Boba Fett, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu are reunited and continue their adventure together in Season 3 of The Mandalorian. The eight new episodes of the “Star Wars” series will be available on Disney+ on March 1, with a new episode airing every Wednesday. And fans can now apparently look forward to many more adventures from the duo…

Because showrunner Jon Favreau recently revealed that he’s already written the script for Season 4 of “The Mandalorian.” Favreau also said he has no idea how the Star Wars series will end – and that can only mean that Season 4 won’t be the end point just yet!

Everything about “Star Wars” on Disney+*

So is season 5 of The Mandalorian coming – and maybe even more? That is of course a possibility. Another way to continue telling the story of Din Djarin and/or Grogu is to guest star in Mandalorian spin-offs, as recently happened in The Book of Boba Fett. After all, many of the new ‘Star Wars’ series on Disney + should be linked to each other in terms of content and could then – in MCU style – result in a major crossover.

“Star Wars” fans get even more Boba Fett – but where? Into a “Star Wars Avengers”!?

Jon Favreau revealed on the Inside Total Film Podcast (via Bespin Bulletin) that he doesn’t have an ending in mind for the series just yet. Of Season 3 of The Mandalorian‘ we’ve just arrived at ‘the middle chapter of a much bigger story’. He then quickly spoke not only of Din Djarin, but in general of the characters that currently populate the “Mandalorian” universe. These are, for example, Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson).

“While we already have a basic understanding of what happens to these characters over time and how they fit into the bigger picture, there’s not yet a finale that we have in mind that we’re working towards. On the contrary, I think it’s great that these stories go on and on. So these characters could potentially stay with us for a while and I really like telling stories from their point of view, I like how the adventures unfold and I look forward to making many more of them.

“Ahsoka” may start in the fall of 2023

Following “The Mandalorian” Season 3, “Star Wars: Ahsoka” is also slated to release this year – lead actress Rosario Dawson recently hinted that this could be the case in Fall 2023. season will tie in with the Ahsoka series in terms of content, Favreau indicated that he does not intend to “entirely intertwine” the series, but that characters may come along for crossovers – and the events of the various series will welfare. influencing each other. The new series “Skeleton Crew” with Jude Law is also one of the series that plays simultaneously with “The Mandalorian”.
