Unlike most Holywood heavyweights, Alexandra Daddario did not start her acting career early. While she cultivated the idea of becoming an actress at the age of eleven, she only started her professional career in the craft at 16.
Granted, she has established herself as a talented actress and as one of the fast-rising stars in the industry. One of the performances that made her a household name in the film adaptation of Baywatch, where she appears in her characteristic red swimsuit in the role of Summer Quinn.

On March 16, 1986, the beautiful actress with a radiant smile was born as Alexandra Anna Daddario in New York City. She was greeted by her parents – Christina, who is a lawyer, and her father, District Attorney Richard Daddario, who used to head the New York City Police Anti-Terrorism Unit under Mayor Michael Bloomberg. The family’s oldest child, Alexandria, has a sister named Catharine and a brother named Matthew (an actor). Their ancestry is a mixture of Italian, Slovak, English, and Irish.
Alexandria Daddario and her siblings grew up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and for her education, she attended Brearley School and Professional Children’s School before attending Marymount Manhattan College. In order to refine her acting skills, the actress studied Meisner acting techniques for several years.
She made her television debut at the age of 16 and played Laurie Lewis in the soap opera All My Children, which served as a stepping stone to greater heights in the industry. In 2010 she received her first major role as Annabeth Chase in the fantasy adventure film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, in addition to her recurring role as Kate Moreau in the drama series White Collar. In 2012 Alexandria appeared in an episode of the FX sitcom It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and later in 2013 she resumed her role in the sequel Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. Burying the Ex was her next appearance alongside Anton Yelchin and Ashley Greene.
In 2014 the actress played a short role in the debut season of the HBO series True Detective and in 2015 she was given a lead role as Blake Gaines in the movie San Andreas, starring Dwayne Johnson. That same year, the actress made a cameo appearance in the Fox comedy series The Last Man on Earth and was a guest star in the FX anthology series American Horror Story.
In 2016, she played a supporting role in the love drama movie The Choice, then starred in the 2017 Baywatch film adaptation, and in the same year, she also appeared in the road trip comedy The Layover.
More recently, Alexandra Daddario played a role in the music video Wait by Maroon 5 and starred in the romantic comedy When We First Met. We Have Always Lived in the Castle, Nomis and I Am Not a Bird are just some of her 2018 film highlights.
