Along with their increasing level of awareness, the need for any intoxicants became ever greater. When she suffered from postpartum depression after the birth of her daughter Kaya, she got caught in a real vicious circle. Meanwhile, the Scream VI actress is clean and sober again and remembers her addiction: Hayden even had to see a liver specialist because of her alcoholism!
The native American is currently adorning the cover of the British Women’s Health-Magazine. In the accompanying interview, the blonde primarily addresses her drug and alcohol past. “My tolerance got so fast, so high”, explained the beauty. However, her high consumption had a high price: Wladimir Klitschko’s (47) ex was swollen and her skin had turned yellow. For this reason she had to see a liver specialist.
The fallout from her addiction has gone so far that Hayden has even suffered liver failure. The reason for reaching for the bottle was due to her career, as she told the New York Times had revealed: “When I got home from acting, the last thing I wanted to do was deal with my feelings properly or talk about them in a healthy way, so I resorted to unhealthy coping methods.”
