Brice Butler is an NFL player currently playing for Arizona Cardinal as a wide receiver. His NFL career began in 2013 after he was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the 7th round of the NFL Draft 2013.

He has also played for the Dallas Cowboys. In his nearly five seasons with Oakland and Dallas, Butler has played sixty-one games and started seven of them.

Brice was born on 29 January 1990 in Norcross, Georgia. Since his time in Norcross, Georgia, he started playing American football. The boy played as a wide receiver. In his junior year, he recorded thirty-five interceptions over 680 yards, an average of 19.4 interceptions on nine touchdowns.

In 2007, he won several awards and honors including the Prep Star All-American, Super Prep Elite 50, ESPN 150, Prep Star Dream Team, Prep Star All-Southeast, Super Prep All-Dixie, Atlanta Journal-Constitution Super Southern 100, and Super Prep All-American.

As a senior, he made a total of 1,186 receivers with fifteen touchdowns. Brice Butler was also fantastic at athletics events and represented his school in several competitions. Brice participated in the 4 × 100 m relay in a state competition, after which he finished 7th with a record time of 42.54 seconds. He also participated in the Region 7-5A meeting and led his team to victory in a 4 × 400 m relay that ended in 3:22.82 minutes.

As a junior, Brice Butler achieved his personal best of 22.7 seconds in a 200-meter run and 50.33 seconds in a 400-meter run. After high school, he received a scholarship offer from the University of Southern California (USC), which he accepted and played for the school soccer team.

As a freshman, Brice Butler recorded twenty receptions over 292 yards and two touchdowns for which he received the Pac-10 All-Freshman award. During his next three years on the team, he played as a reserve wide receiver, started four games, and completed forty-one receptions over 554 yards and three touchdowns.

After earning his degree in public policy, management, and planning in 2011, Butler moved to San Diego State University to play his final season and complete a master’s degree. In San Diego, he scored twenty-four receptions at 347 yards and four touchdowns.

Brice Butler was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the 7th round of the NFL Draft 2013. As a rookie, he played ten games with nine receptions for one hundred and seven (107) yards. The following year he made twenty-one receptions for 280 yards and 2 touchdowns.

In 2015 he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys and in return received a fifth-round pick for DeAndre Washington. His most productive game of the season took place in week 16, a game against the Buffalo Bills, where he scored four receptions for seventy-four yards. By the end of the season, Brice had played seven games and scored a total of twelve receptions for 258 yards.

In 2017 the Cowboys signed another one-year contract with him. This season he missed three games after suffering a foot injury in a practice game. Nevertheless, he had already recorded 207 receiving yards and two touchdowns in his first five games. He finished this season with thirteen games and a total of fifteen receptions for 317 yards and three touchdowns. In April 2018 Brice Butler signed a 2-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals

His Family

Brice was born on January 29, 1990, in Norcross, Georgia, the son of Robert Calvin Butler and Cyrillyn Butler. He is one of the four sons of his parents. His brothers are Brenton, Brelan, and Brandel.

His father was a former NFL player who played as a defensive back for the Atlanta Falcons for 12 seasons after being drafted by the franchise in the first round of the 1981 NFL Draft. He played his entire NFL career for the Falcons and retired in 1992. Butler Sr. also played college football at Florida State University.

Brice’s brother Brenton played basketball at Fordham University before going on to play for RSV Eintracht Stahnsdorf as a professional in Germany. He is the starting point guard for the team,
