The contact is despite the allegations. Actor Ashton Kutcher (44) and his colleague Danny Masterson (46) met while filming the series “That ’70 Show” and seem to have been pretty good friends ever since. Danny has faced multiple allegations of sexual abuse and rape over the past few years, including at Ashton’s home. That doesn’t stop the Two and a Half Men actor from keeping in touch with Danny, though.
As the American magazine Daily Mail reported, Ashton would like his friend to be cleared of the allegations. However, he does not know who to believe in this case. “I’m not the judge. I’m not on the jury. I’m not the prosecutor. I’m not the victim. And I’m not the defendant. So in this case I have no [knowledge] — I just don’t know, ” Ashton commented on the serious allegations against Danny.
In November last year, a first trial against Danny ended. However, this was declared invalid because the jury could not agree. The “Smiley Face” actor declares himself innocent.
