Prince Harry (38) and his wife Duchess Meghan (41) have their own ideas! In a few weeks, King Charles III. (74) officially the British throne. Although Harry is said to have received an invitation to his father’s big day, it is not known if the California native and his family will attend – supposedly Harry and Meghan are now making demands for Charles’ coronation!
In an interview with OK! A source revealed the couple would like their children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, to be part of the special day – only Harry and Meghan have been invited so far: “What the Sussexes want is that later on the day of the coronation they are invited to the palace with the rest of the family. Also has prince Archie’s birthday on the day of the coronation, so they’d like to make some sort of nod to it at a luncheon or reception. Even if it’s just a birthday greeting.”
It’s unclear at this point if the royal family will go along with their wishes – but according to the source, they are trying to do everything in their power to bring Harry and Meghan to the UK next May: “The palace is trying to complete the negotiations as soon as possible […]. That could lead to chaos. It could very well be a dead end and they won’t participate. But the palace is doing everything in its power to prevent that.”
