Beyoncé’s (41) dress is now an exhibit. In 2017, the singer performed at the Grammy Awards during her second pregnancy. The golden robe was made of a sheer fabric that was embroidered all over with rhinestones. The golden crown she wore on her head like a halo made her look like a Greek goddess. And this special piece of clothing can now also be admired by her fans up close: Beyoncés Dress is now on display at Kensington Palace.
How People reports, a very special exhibition is currently being shown in London’s Kensington Palace – and Beyoncés gold Grammy dress got pride of place. This, together with a Versace robe that Blake Lively (35) wore at the Met Gala 2022, is one of the absolute highlights. “It’s an exquisite gold beaded dress that evokes various African goddesses – it’s an iconic one Beyonce-Moment”, enthused the curator Claudia Acott Williams. The idea was probably born in 2018 due to the Victorian motto of the Met Gala.
The Grammys played for Beyonce but not only in 2017 a big role. She managed to set a record. This time she received the award in the category “Best Dance/Electronic Album” for her current album “Renaissance”. She won the trophy for the 32nd time and received the most awards in the history of the Grammys.
