It was probably the most complex season finale at Joko & Klaas against ProSieben! The two moderators Joko Winterscheidt (44) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (39) compete against their employer ProSieben in their show of the same name. As a rule, the two have to prove themselves against numerous celebrities in various games of skill. But for the last episode of the show, they had to play against 777 employees of the network. Could Joko and Klaas defeat the broadcaster?
No, they couldn’t! The program initially ran as follows: depending on the result, the number of their opponents decreased after each round – so after the first game 116 employees had to vacate the field. In the second game “Touch”, Joko and Klaas grabbed 94 items, so 94 of the staff had to leave the studio. Only 49 people were left before the final challenge, so the duo was able to eliminate a whopping 728 participants!
Shortly before the end things looked very good for Joko and Klaas, but in the game “Think poet” Steven Gätjen (50) asked several questions – the team that came closest to the solution with their answer should win. With five points won, the final and the show went to ProSieben. As punishment, Joko and Klaas have to cook for the entire workforce.
