Dean A. Barnes, 37, of Harrisburg, was identified as the body found along the riverbank in April 2022. According to the Allegheny County coroner, he died on April 9 of that year.
Barnes’ body was located close to the Ohio River along Doerr Street on New Beaver Avenue in Pittsburgh.
At this time, the exact cause of his death is unknown and authorities have yet to discover whether Barnes committed suicide or was murdered.
