Isn't Serena Williams planning a tennis comeback after all?

Serena Williams (41) is greatly missed on the tennis court. The athlete announced last August that she wanted to end her tennis career after 27 years. And that despite the fact that she has made a name for herself in this sport with 23 Grand Slam titles. Only a few months after she left, fans had suspected an early comeback – now the professional athlete spoke plainly: At the moment Serena cannot imagine reviving her tennis career.

In an interview with “CBS Mornings,” she was asked if she could imagine returning. “It’s hard to say. I would say no. No at the moment,” the 41-year-old clarified. This ruled out an early comeback but did not quite end her professional sports career. “I’ve literally dedicated my whole life to tennis and it’s time for me to dedicate my life to something else,” she explained.

After all, Serena is not only a tennis star but also the mother of a daughter. Just last December, she posted a picture of herself, her husband Alexis Ohanian (39), her little Alexis Olympia (5), and her dog on Instagram. “Family day on the farm,” she commented on her recording with her loved ones.
