The American actress was born on March 12, 1984. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, the beauty spent only a few years in her birthplace before she moved with her family to Grapevine, Texas at the age of four. Already in elementary school she showed great potential in acting but was so bad at the theater that she was dumped in high school because she couldn’t sing. Later she finished her academic requirements at Colleyville Heritage High School and went to Los Angeles for her acting career.

She finally got her chance as a professional actress in 2003 in the leading role of Hanna Thompson in the movie The Other Side. She got the role by chance as she was helping out at the audition when the director saw that she was perfect for the role.

The Other Side opened the door for other roles, with Squirrel Trap as the second film in which she appeared as Sara. She then had a guest appearance in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and in an episode of Standoff.

After more than a decade in the film industry, the actress has done quite well and has a net worth of $4 million to show for her efforts.

She was injured on set in 2012 after she fell off a metal staircase during the shooting of “Thor: The Dark World”. As a result, she suffered a herniated disc in her thoracic spine, a dislocated left shoulder, and a rhomboid tear on the right side. To recover, she had to take a one-month break.

A ruptured appendix sent her back to the hospital in March 2018 and she made a full recovery after surgery.
