American singer and songwriter – Jake Owen has been working in the entertainment industry since 2005. The acclaimed singer actually started out as an avid golfer with the intention of turning the sport into a career. At the age of 15, he even won his first tournament, but unfortunately, he was injured in an accident that put an end to his ambitions in golf.

Jake’s debut album entitled Startin’ with Me was released in 2006. The album produced three singles – Something About a Woman, Startin’ with Me, and Yee-Haw – which made it into the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts. In 2009 his second studio album, Easy Does It, was released, which also included three singles – Tell Me, Don’t Think I Can’t Love You, and Eight Second Ride.
The singer achieved his first number one hit in the country charts with Barefoot Blue Jean Night, the title track for his third studio album of the same name. Other singles like Anywhere with You, Alone with You, and The One That Got Away also reached number one in the country charts. In 2014, the singer released his fourth studio album, Days of Gold, and on July 29, 2016, his fifth album, American Love, was released.
Personal Life: Married, Wife, Daughter, Divorce
On May 7, 2012, Jake married Owen Lacey Buchanan, an American model. Jake had notoriously proposed on the stage of his annual charity event in Vero Beach. Their wedding ceremony was a small affair involving only 25 family members and was officiated by the singer’s uncle. Jake Owen, who was very happy to be married, confessed that he wanted to imitate his parents’ 30-year marriage. The couple has a beautiful daughter – Olive Pearl, who was born on November 22, 2012.
Unfortunately for Jake Owen, his wish for a permanent marriage did not come true; after barely three years of marriage, the news of his impending divorce hit the social media. Their divorce, which was finalized in August 2015, allegedly left the singer devastated. He also said that he misses spending more time with his daughter.
