After 23 years they dared again! British celebrity chef Jamie Oliver (47) and his wife Jools married for the first time in 2000. They crowned their love with a total of five children. In the Maldives, in the midst of their five children, they said yes again this year. And he is sure of one thing: For Jamie, second vows mean more than first!
At BBC Breakfast The 47-year-old explained how the new wedding came about: “I had actually planned it for our 20th anniversary three years ago, but Covid obviously put a stop to it.” He thinks, for the second time, marriage vows mean even more. “You’ve lived through everything they say. That’s a good way to start the second half.”described the celebrity chef.
Jamie also cited his five children as the reason for the second marriage. “They’re all slowly leaving the house and going to uni now. It was a beautiful moment to show them how close their parents are and how much we love them.”, he explained further. The pictures up Instagram he posted for his large family at home so that they too can be part of the day.
