Kayzo – Biography
Born on October 8, 1991, as Hayden Capuozzo, the DJ was born in Houston, Texas, United States of America. He spent his early years growing up with his family in Los Angeles. He is a field hockey talent, and during his school days, he played for his school team.
His interest in music began when he was very young, and this flair led him to enroll in the school of electronic music production, Icon Collective in Los Angeles. There he spent nine months and graduated in 2012. During this time he mastered the basic elements of electronic music and also distinguished himself as a bassist with an aggressive sound and elements of the trap, hardstyle, and dubstep genres.
Music Career and Rise to Prominence
Shortly after graduating from music school, Kayzo started his music career in 2012. He recorded his breakout performance when he participated in Insomniac’s Discovery Project challenge that year. After an impressive performance, he became the winner of the competition. As a result of his victory, he was given the opportunity to work as a DJ at this year’s Escape from Wonderland Music Festival. This trip was also his first appearance as a DJ.
The following year he released his first single Malfunction 2.0 in collaboration with Duelle. The following year, Kayzo released a single in collaboration with Dotcom called Take a Picture ft. Later that year he released another single, Hasselhouse.
The talented DJ then founded his own record label called Doghouse Recordings and produced the EP Welcome to the Doghouse in 2016.
