The first state visit of King Charles III. (74) and his wife Queen Consort Camilla (75) is well underway. On Wednesday, the royal couple started their visit to the federal capital at the Brandenburg Gate. They then went to Bellevue Palace, where they signed the city’s golden book. In the afternoon, the king then gave a speech in the Bundestag. Charles and Camilla went to a weekly market on Thursday!
In new pictures you can see the king and the king’s wife walking through a weekly market in Berlin. The couple takes time to chat with the vendors and peruse the various stalls. The two let the various offers be shown and appear very close to the people. Camilla is a little braver than her husband because she tries different types of honey.
The royal couple also takes their supporters to the official Instagram-Account with to visit the weekly market. Sharing some of their snaps and videos, they write: “The second day begins at the weekly market on Wittenbergplatz with its wide range of offers.”
