Who is rapper King Von?
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, King Von had six half-siblings. His life was marred by tragedy at a young age after his father was imprisoned and killed when he was 11.
Despite the hardships, King Von bravely rose to fame in the early days of the rap industry. He was already in prison at the age of 16, sparking a relentless series of legal troubles.
Impressively, despite these obstacles, King Von burst onto the music scene with fellow artist Lil Durk whose collaborations continued to push King Von’s name into the spotlight until his passing in November 2020.

How did King Von die?
The death of 26-year-old King Von is a tragedy. Unfortunately, violence was the cause of his death.
King Von and others were involved in a dispute that quickly escalated into gunfire at an Atlanta nightclub with Quando Rondo.
Unfortunately, medical personnel were unable to save King Von, after he was shot multiple times, and he tragically died in hospital. Along with him, three other victims also died and four were seriously injured.
Timothy Leeks has been identified as the gunman responsible for the deadly altercation and its devastating aftermath.
As the community mourns this loss, it is important to remember King Von’s life with respect and admiration. On November 14, 2020, he was buried in his hometown of Chicago.
