Lauren Simonetti was born in Manhattan, the United States of America, on October 10, 1984, as one of the three children of her father Raymond Simonetti, businessman and mother, and Janet Simonetti, housewife, and mother. Their family was a wealthy Italian-American family; as such, Lauren and her siblings were not deprived of the essential things that their childhood required. They grew up in Rossville, Staten Island, New York.

She spent her childhood reading newspapers and loved to tell stories about what she read to her friends or just to anyone or a group of people who could be an audience for her. This honed her career in journalism and news reporting. During these formative years of her life, Lauren participated in storytelling competitions, where she often made impressive appearances. Her mother, who as a housewife could spend a lot of time with her children, quickly recognized this talent. She encouraged her daughter and asked her to think about becoming a television reporter.

Coming from a privileged family, Lauren attended a private school – St. Joseph by the Sea High School in Huguenots, Staten Island, where she went on to study at George Washington University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in English with magna cum laude. She then completed her Master’s degree in English along with comparative literature at Columbia University, also with excellent grades. Throughout her schooling, Lauren Simonetti has been an exceptional student who has excelled in both her academic and extracurricular activities.

Lauren began her career tonight with Lou Dobbs as a production assistant. She has learned a lot in this role, and it has helped her take her career in the industry to greater heights. She received a new job offer from the Cable News Network (CNN) as an Associate Producer and Freelancer for CNN International.

Over the next two years working here, she produced some great shows for the news channel, interviewed several big names in the corporate world, and covered a whole range of economic events that were in the news at the time.

Family – Married, Husband, and Kids

Lauren is a married woman, she married her crush Mark Cubrilo in October 2011 in a silent Christian wedding ceremony that took place at Crystal Plaza in Livingston, New Jersey.

Mark Cubrilo works just like her at FBN, but as a satellite and field engineer. It is possible that the two of them met at FBN, fell in love, and decided to strengthen their bond by tying the wedding cord as husband and wife.

Although their wedding ceremony was rather simple, they spiced up their epoch-making event with their honeymoon in Tanzania and later in Zanzibar, all of which took place in Africa.

The couple currently lives and works in Manhattan, New York. In October 2015 they had their first child, a girl named Rae Vivian Cubrilo, and in December 2017 Lauren announced that she is with a child who is due to be born in the spring of 2018.
