Shania Twain (57) opens up about a bad time in her life. The musician has been rocking stages around the world since the early 1990s. With over 100 million records sold, she is the best-selling female singer in country music history and one of the highest-grossing female music artists of all time. Recently she had to go through a lot due to various illnesses. Now Shania talked about how bad it actually was for her.
The 57-year-old spoke to Mirror about her corona infection. “It got worse and worse. My signs of life kept getting worse. And finally, I had to be ventilated” the Canadian recalled. “My husband freaked out, to be honest” she added. “Every day he spent hours on the phone trying to organize an evacuation getting a bed because there was none and checking my vital signs. The mother of a son had previously contracted Lyme disease after a tick bite that had affected her vocal cords. After years of physiotherapy a lot of vocal training and vocal cord surgery in 2018 Shania can now use her voice much better again.
