Priscilla Presley is trying to move on as best she can for her family. On January 12th, Elvis’s ex-wife (✝42) had to say goodbye to their only daughter Lisa Marie (✝54). She died in the hospital after suffering double heart failure. The deceased would have turned 55 on Wednesday – a particularly difficult day for her mother. Nevertheless, Priscilla gives everything to be there for the rest of her family members.
“Today would have been Lisa’s 55th birthday. My desire is to protect my three grandchildren and keep our family together,” she said in a statement on Page Six. From the very first moment, Priscilla protected Lisa Marie, like her half-brother Navarone Garibaldi (35), with all her heart and led her through life in the best possible way. “Our hearts are broken and I have to learn to live without my only daughter,” she said, visibly emotional.
Finally, the 77-year-old thanked her for the huge sympathy for Lisa Marie’s death around the world. “We really love you all and we feel your prayers. Thank you for taking such great care of our family,” she said.
