Olivia Newton-John (✝73) will not be forgotten! The “Grease” star had lost the fight against cancer, which she faced for the third time, about five months ago. The actress was married to entrepreneur John Easterling from 2008 until her death. Her grieving widower commemorated his beloved wife at an event on Saturday night. With a touching speech, John now paid tribute to his Olivia!
“Over the past 15 years, I’ve been fortunate to experience the depth and passion of her being. Every day with Olivia has been a bit of magic. Every day with Olivia has been supernatural,” the 70-year-old gushed of his wife to the Mirror. In his intimate speech, John also revealed the place where their love began: “Olivia and I fell unexpectedly, madly, and forever in love in the Amazon rainforest.”
John also drew attention to the lifelong activism his wife committed to because of her illness. “Olivia knew her voice and notoriety were a gift. Her legacy will live on as a joyful, healing spirit with a constant focus on moving things ‘to the love and the light’.”
