Marlon Wayans is an American comedian, actor, film producer, and screenwriter. It is easy to decipher from the last name that he is a member of the famous “Wayans Family” in Hollywood. Of all the family members, Marlon often works with his brother Shawn, with whom he played the lead role in The Wayans Bros. that was aired in The WB. They also starred in White Chicks, Scary Movie, Scary Movie 2, Dance Flick, Little Man, and Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.
The actor got his start when he appeared in a small role in the parody film I’m Gonna Git You Sucka in 1988 and has appeared in many comedies since then, but Marlon decided to take a step away from his usual comedic roles when he was given a dramatic role in Darren Aronofsky’s psychodrama film Requiem For A Dream in 2000, opposite Jared Leto and Jennifer Connelly.

The actor later showed his versatility by working with Randy Adams, co-founder of “Funny Or Die”, to create What The Funny, a digital media company that would serve as an online destination for urban comedy. He also created “Funniest Wins”, a comedy competition television show that was broadcast on TBS.
He wrote, starred in the lead role, and also produced the parody film Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades of Black. Since 2017, Marlon has starred in his own NBC sitcom Marlon, which also features Essence Watkins, Bresha Webb, and Diallo Riddle.
In 2014 Marlon and his brothers started to tour the United States with their “The Wayans Brothers Tours”. It must be great luck to come from a family with so much talent.
Marlon is also a fan of the New York Knicks and the Pittsburg Steelers. He was also a very close friend of Tupac Shakur until he passed away.

Marlon Lamont Wayans was born in New York City on July 23, 1972, the son of Elvira Green – a social worker – and Howell Wayans – a supermarket manager. The family members were devout Jehovah’s Witnesses. Marlon and his siblings grew up in the housing projects of New York City, and he was the youngest of ten siblings.
Marlon attended the infamous Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, which has produced so many actors and musicians from Jennifer Aniston to Nicki Minaj. Marlon Wayans is officially off the market. The actor was in a long-term relationship with Angelica Zachary before they got married in 2005. They currently have two children together – Amai Zackary Wayans, born May 24, 2000, and Shawn Howell Wayans, born February 3, 2002.
