The year was 1993 and the birthplace was on the Canadian island of Newfoundland, which is on the east coast of mainland North America.

In Newfoundland, the boy, who was to grow up to become a famous YouTube star, grew up with his siblings. The Canadian is of North American descent. After his birth, he was named Matthew Edward Shea. Today he is widely known as Matt Shea, but his millions of fans on YouTube and other social media platforms identify him as MattShea, MattShea369, or Westward.

The only thing known about Wisward’s education is that he was once a student at Memorial University in Newfoundland. Although we cannot yet confirm this, it is said that he studied neuroscience there.

Before that, he had introduced Ashley as his fiancée in one of his videos. As far as we know, the couple met in the summer of 2008, yes, they were lovers for over 8 years before they finally got married.

When they got married, they explicitly stated that they were only 23 years old and would not need a baby in the near future. According to MattShea, his wife Ashley is smart, and that’s his favorite thing about her. For Ashley, it is MattShea’s personality that she values most.
