It has long been known that we will see Groot, again set to music by Vin Diesel, in a new form in “Guardians Of The Galaxy 3”. He has grown considerably since his last appearance in Thor 4: Love And Thunder and is now really muscular. But another detail has now been confirmed by the official Hasbro figure series for the third “Guardians Of The Galaxy” adventure: Big has wings.
The published image clearly shows the large wings that Groot has grown and which he will certainly not only wear during walks. We will definitely see them in action. This also goes very well with some rumors that the action in Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 will be even more stylized. Director James Gunn supposedly strongly visually oriented towards Japanese animations.
Not just Groot – does Nebula have wings too?
Not only Groot has to run through the air with wings. The Twitter account CanWeGetSomeToast, which specializes in MCU scoops, reports that Nebula, played by Karen Gillan, is now also coming up with this innovation. Her wings are said to be reminiscent of those of the title character in the manga classic “Alita: Battle Angel”.
As you know, this was filmed a few years ago by Robert Rodriguez and James Cameron. Until now, the fans have been waiting in vain for a sequel in which the wings should also play a major role – even if recently there was hope again:
Sealed with a blood oath! Robert Rodriguez and James Cameron still want to bring “Alita: Battle Angel 2” to the cinema!
Plus, the leaker teases that too Groot has another surprise in store for us. He should also be able to assume a kaiju form. Kaiju is a Japanese term used for local giant monsters such as Godzilla, Mothra and co.
Soon we can see what it all looks like and what other crazy ideas await us in the cinema. “Guardians of the Galaxy part 3As mentioned, it will take effect on May 3, 2023.
