Singer and rapper at the same time, Don Toliver established himself with a unique blend of vocally driven trap.

He was catapulted to international recognition in 2018 with a starring role in ‘Can’t Say’, a top forty US pop hit from Travis Scott’s Astroworld LP and signed to Scott’s Cactus Jack label.

Don joined Sheck Wes and Scott in 2019’s collaborative project JackBoys, an all-time hit, and stormed the top ten as a solo artist with 2020’s Heaven or Hell. Life of a DON placed his second solo album in the top ten in 2021.

The range of left-wing pop singer Kali Uchis is reflected in the diversity of her collaborators. This extensive cross-genre list includes Gorillaz, BadBadNotGood, The Creator, Daniel Caesar, Juanes, and Tyler.

A songwriter, singer, video director and producer, Uchis really landed on his own with the self-released Por Vida released in 2015, an EP that led to a deal with Virgin EMI.

Don Toliver’s dropped ‘Love Sick’ in collaboration with Travis Scott

One of hip-hop’s famed voices is back on the ground with a new album, and while Don Toliver may be “Love Sick,” he’s far from alone.

However, he’s taken most of the West Coast scene with Justin Bieber, Travis Scott, Kali Uchis, Future, Lil Durk, and dozens more, offering features on the album. Even with all the atmosphere, the voices are still that same old Din Toliver, neon and night rides.

Besides that star power and familiar summer night swagger, there was little to love about this album, but the worst part is the theme itself.

From cover to cover, the album has little more to offer than misogyny and malice, with the better seconds offering the approximate depth of a kiddie pool.

How did the couple meet?

The couple was rumored to be spending time together just after Don’s song ‘Drugs N Hella Melodies’ comes out in 2021.

The music video shows Don in a pink bubble bath with Kali. The song video was as steamy as it gets and fans couldn’t help but wonder if their connection was natural.

Don’s music video further confused the public as neither of them had ever suggested they were dating at the time, and most people wouldn’t even have suspected they were in a relationship until 2021.

American rapper Don Toliver confirmed that Kali was his girlfriend less than a month after he dropped ‘Drugs N Hella Melodies’.

During his interview with W Magazine, when asked if there was any truth to his and Kali’s relationship, he said: “We are not a crazy crowd or anything like that, we just have atmosphere. I already had it in my head to go out and make a video with her incorporated to make it a realistic situation.

Don is said to have met her relatives when they traveled to Colombia to shoot the music video for their song.
