Samantha Markle, Meghan Markle’s half-sister, filed paperwork on Friday requesting that both Prince Harry and Meghan testify in her libel case against the Duchess of Sussex.
Samantha is out to prove that some of Meghan’s comments during the Oprah interview back in 2021 were false. According to the ‘ Mirror ‘, she wants the couple to testify in separate interviews that could take place on the same day.
According to the British publication, Samantha expects her stepsister to make 38 different admissions during her statement.
He wants Meghan to retract claims she made about the Royal Family, as well as acknowledge that she lied about her upbringing in her attempt to promote a ” royal rags ” narrative.

“She is asking the court to decide whether she and Meghan ‘had ever’ been ‘close’, how many times the two ‘crossed paths’ as adults, and whether Meghan’s feelings that she ‘grew up an only child’ are ‘true’ or false. Meghan’s lawyers revealed.
Samantha’s decision to file the lawsuit came after Meghan claimed she grew up an only child.
“Plaintiff [Samantha] first asserts that she can disprove that Meghan ‘grew up an only child,'” the documents say.
“But this perception is inherently unfalsifiable. It’s hard to imagine a more personal and subjective feeling than the way one views one’s childhood.”
Furthermore, the claimant’s opposition completely ignores the context of the statement, in which Ms. Winfrey questioned Meghan about her ‘relationship’ with the claimant (whom Ms. Winfrey referred to as her stepsister on behalf of her father).
“Meghan’s response to that question that she ‘grew up an only child’ was obviously not intended to be an objective statement of fact that she had no genetic siblings or half-siblings. Rather, it was a textbook example of a subjective statement about how a person feels about his childhood.”
