Michael Rapaport is known as an actor, director, comedian, podcast host, media personality, and author. Since his introduction to the entertainment industry, the actor has starred in over sixty films and several television shows – which means there is a chance you have seen his face in one or two of your favorite shows. Michael Rapaport: Biography
Michael David Rapaport was born on 20 March 1970 in New York City. His father, David Rapaport, was a radio executive, while his mother, June Brody, was a radio personality in New York. His father was also the general manager of a New York radio station.
He has an older sister, Claudia Lonow, who also works in the entertainment industry; she is an actress, comedian, and television producer. He also has a brother named Eric. When his parents divorced, his mother married Mark Lonow, a comedian and co-owner of “The Improv”, a comedy club franchise.
Michael grew up with his family on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. He is of Italian, Russian, and Polish descent. He is also Ashkenazi-Jewish.
It can be said that Michael did not always show his best behavior in high school – he was even expelled from Erasmus Hall High School. He later returned to school and graduated from New York’s Martin Luther King High School.

One of Michael Rapaport’s most famous relationships was his relationship with Lili Taylor. Their relationship attracted a lot of attention because of the drama that surrounded them. In 1997, Michael was arrested for harassing Lili Taylor, and he was then charged with two counts of aggravated assault. Michael Rapaport Family: Wife, Kids
Michael was once married to Nichole Beattie, a writer, and producer. The two married in 2000 and currently have two sons together. Their first son, Julian Ali Rapaport, was born in 2000, while their second son, Maceo Shane Rapaport, was born in 2002.
Sadly, Michael and Nichole were divorced in 2007.
In 2016 the actor Kebe Dunn, who had been his longtime girlfriend and partner, married. Although they had already established their love for each other, the two decided to hold the ceremony because of what she represents. They don’t have children at the moment, but we don’t rule out the possibility yet.
