Monday: Documentary about “Nothing New in the West”

The German anti-war film “Nothing New in the West” has been nominated this year for an Oscar for Best International Film – and more than that! Because the Netflix production also received a nomination in eight other categories. You can see how good the new film adaptation of Erich Maria Remarque’s novel is on Netflix – and now, brand new, how complicated the shooting was. Netflix will publish a making-of for Edward Berger’s “Nothing New in the West” on Monday.

Tuesday: No reboots

Fitting with Monday’s title, we can report: Nothing new on Tuesday.

Wednesday: addition to the double thriller

You can do that from Wednesday the Netflix originalThe strayscurrent. In the thriller drama, the life of wealthy Neve (Ashley Madekwe) is turned upside down when two strangers show up in her idyllic suburb and start to upset her. Neve soon begins to question her sanity.

And also in the field of series there is an addition to the thriller on Wednesday. In the Mexican seriesthree lives Inspector Becca (Maite Perroni) discovers that she is not an only child, as she always thought. She has triplets, but separated from them after birth. Becca searches for the truth about her mysterious past.

Thursday: Manga Adaptation and “Outer Banks” Season 3

The mystery series”Outdoor benches enters the third round – and after the shocking Season 2 finale, fans are finally getting to know what’s next. It will certainly be exciting again for the Pogues around John B (Chase Stokes), who love nothing more than treasure hunting.

This is also coming Thursday dramaCall me Chihironew to Netflix. In the live-action adaptation of a popular manga series, former sex worker Chihiro (Kasumi Arimura) opens a restaurant in a small coastal Japanese town and shares a few life lessons with the people who eat at her place.

Friday: “We Have A Ghost” with Anthony Mackie

On Friday there is the biggest new arrival of the week – namely the horror comedy”We have a ghoststarring Stranger Things and Marvel star David Harbour, Captain America actor Anthony Mackie and Golden Globe winner Jennifer Coolidge.

In the “Happy Deathday” fantasy film, director Christopher Landon, Frank (Anthony Mackie) and Melanie (Erica Ash) move into a new house with their children – only to discover that it is haunted. House ghost Ernest (David Harbour) seems like a friendly man, but his appearance soon attracts the attention of the media, a fortune teller (Jennifer Coolidge) and even the CIA, wreaking havoc on the family.

Saturday: “Clerks 3” by Kevin Smith

Filmmaker Kevin Smith has been campaigning for years to make another sequel to his cult film Clerks. In 2022 it finally happened – and now the sequel is already available as a streaming subscription. On February 25 “Clerks IIIreleased on Netflix and brings back most of the crew from the original comedy.

When Randal (Jeff Anderson) has a heart attack, Dante (Brian O’Halloran) calls on old friends Elias (Trevor Fehrman), Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith). Together they want to make a film about the life of their almost lost friend Randal – and about the small mini-supermarket that brought them together.

Sunday: time for the watchlist
