What’s up with the show The Bachelor? This year, content creator David Jackson is looking for his great love on TV among numerous women. The dating program started at the beginning of March and in the meantime one or the other woman had to leave the dream villa again. Usually, the reality TV show was a guarantee of good ratings. But interest seems to be waning – the rate for “The Bachelor” has now dropped even further.
Like the TV magazine Quotenmeter.de reported, a total of 1.31 million viewers watched the fight for the hottie and the next rose on Wednesday evening. This was a market share of just 5.1 percent. Of the actual target group, 0.59 million people sat in front of the TV – the percentage of these fell to a disappointing 9.8 percent. Compared to the previous week, when the rate in the target group was 11.4 percent, a negative trend can be observed.
Surprisingly, the success of the evening was the show “Das 1% Quiz” with Jörg Pilawa (57). With 1.67 million viewers in front of the television screens, the show secured 6.4 percent of the total market share – a significant increase compared to the previous week with a share of 5.8 percent.
