Mark Salling (✝35) led a short but turbulent life! At the end of 2018, the film and series world was surprised with tragic news: the Glee star started suicide. Since then the artist’s family and friends have repeatedly spoken out and publicly mourned the deceased. On Monday Mark’s death will be five years old: on this occasion, Promiflash looks back on the actor’s career and turbulent life!
The native Texan studied music in Los Angeles and worked as a guitar teacher. He landed minor roles on “Children of Wrath 4” and “The Graveyard” before Mark finally landed the role of Noah “Puck” Puckerman on the series “Glee” in 2009. If he was a regular main character at the beginning his role became less and less visible season after season. One reason for this could have been the impending seven-year prison sentence for child pornography. In 2015 more than 50000 images and videos containing child pornography were found on his computer.
In August 2017 the musician made his first suicide attempt in his Los Angeles apartment. However, roommates then took him to a nearby hospital in time. His attorney at the time denied the storytelling TMZ “Mark is doing well physically and is spending time working on himself.”
