Since the first episode of “Ted Lasso” flashed across TV screens in August 2020, the series has been a hit on the Apple TV+ streaming platform. Now we can look forward to a first teaser trailer for Season 3!

2022 was a year full of amazing series premieres and sequels, but one thing was definitely missing: “Ted Lasso”! The first two seasons of the beautiful dramedy didn’t just end up in our respective series of best of the year lists. And after a break in 2022, fans of the funny football series can finally look forward to new episodes this year. The third (and possibly final!) season of “Ted Lasso” begins March 15, 2023 on Apple TV+, releasing weekly – every Wednesday there is one of the twelve new episodes.

To shorten the wait for the series to spring, the teaser further fuels anticipation for the new season – featuring a reunion with stars like Jason Sudeikis (“We are the Millers”), Hannah Waddingham (“Sex Education” ), Cristo Fernández (“Creatures”), Brett Goldstein (“Thor: Love and Thunder”) and Juno Temple (“The Offering”).

That’s what Season 3 of “Ted Lasso” is all about

Newly promoted football team AFC Richmond has nonetheless been ridiculed by the media, who are not particularly confident in the club’s future. Everyone also knows about Ted’s (Sudeiki) panic attacks. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Mohammed) is now working at rivals West Ham United. Roy Kent (Goldstein) has taken his place at Richmond.

Keeley (Temple) also has to get used to her new role. She now heads her own PR agency, which is a challenge. Meanwhile, Ted struggles not only with his work problems, but also with personal problems. Yet everyone more or less joins forces and wants to achieve great things.

If you want to bridge the time until the season opener, we recommend the comedy series “Shrinking” from the creators of “Ted Lasso”. Apple’s production, starring Jason Segel (“How I Met Your Mother”), is still fresh and has been running on the streamer since January 27.

The best series of 2020 finally continues – and season 2 is just as good as season 1
