The deceased was seen in 18 episodes of the hit series as the mother of the Salvatore brothers. So Paul and Annie spent some time together in front of the camera. In his Instagram story, he now shared a selfie that was probably created on the set at the time. He wrote: “I was deeply saddened to learn of Annie Wersching’s death. She was a wonderful and talented person – and I was very fortunate to meet her.”
Finally, Paul called on his fans to participate in the fundraiser for Annie’s bereaved family. “Annie lived for her family. She loved her job and valued her friends, but Steve and the boys were her everything. This fundraiser is for her. So that Steve can have time to grieve – without the pressure of having to work. So that he Freddie, Ozzie, and Archie can be a father while they navigate the future without their mother and without sweet Annie,” reads the Gofundme message. The goal is $250,000, more than half of which has already been raised.
