Ozzy Osbourne (74) made a difficult decision. The singer has struggled with many health problems in recent years: in 2019 he fell at home and therefore recently had to undergo major spinal surgery. Actually, the plan was that he would return to the stage and go on a big European tour in the spring of this year. Now, however, Ozzy had to cancel his tour with a heavy heart.
Taking to Instagram, the “Black Sabbath” singer shared the sad news that his fans won’t be seeing him on stage this year. “I am truly humbled that you all have been so patient in holding on to your tickets but I have now come to the realization in good conscience that I am not physically able to complete the upcoming European and UK tour dates as I know that I could not cope with the necessary travel,” he explained. After three surgeries and stem cell treatment, he is still physically weak.
Ozzy is very upset that he can no longer perform for the time being. However, he does not want to give up his rock star life completely: “I never imagined that my touring days would end like this. My team is currently working on ideas for where I can perform without traveling from city to city and from country to country “, he stressed.
