It is expected that her wealth will continue to grow as her career continues.

How Samantha Hegseth’s Career Took Off

Very little is known about Samantha’s childhood, family and education. There is also minimal information about her career and life before meeting Pete.

She worked for Vets For Freedom, a political advocacy organization founded in 2006, originally as a 527 group by veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and a tax-exempt non-profit organization.

The group has links with Republican Party leaders and is known for its support of former Senator Joseph Lieberman.

They are also known for spending significant sums of money on campaign ads during the 2007 Iraq war and for supporting the US troop surge. They have received significant donations, including from casino magnate Sheldon Adelson.

During her time at the company, Samantha worked as a spokesperson for the group, and it was during this time that she met Pete, who was the company’s CEO.

Who Is Samantha Hegseth’s Ex-Husband Pete Hegseth

Pete graduated from Princeton University and initially worked as a stock market analyst at Bear Stearns before enlisting in the US Army National Guard as a reserve infantry officer.

In 2004, his unit was drafted and he served at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, as an infantry company commander, after which he deployed to Iraq.

After returning to the US, he worked briefly at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Studies and then for Vets for Freedom. Samantha argued for a greater troop presence in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He then joined Fox News as a military analyst and appeared on various other programs. He has contributed editorials to The New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.

Samantha supported Donald Trump during the Republican primaries in 2016 and is one of his strongest supporters, often attacking the media and the opposition to Trump. He was heavily criticized for allowing Trump to make false statements in interviews without challenging him. He also said on the program that he did not believe in germs and had not washed his hands for ten years.

Pete and Samantha’s Marriage and Divorce

When Pete met Samantha, he was married to Meredith Schwartz. Although the details of their relationship have not been explicitly disclosed, it is often reported that they started it when he was still married.

He divorced his first wife in 2009 and married Samantha the following year – the couple has three children together, the first of whom was born while they were still unmarried. The family attended Eagle Brook Church, and Pete upholds traditional family values. He said that parents with children should avoid divorce in order to encourage large productive families.

Despite his promotion of large families and traditional family values, at some point in 2016, it was reported that he had had several extramarital affairs.

This was later confirmed as Fox executive producer Jennifer Roachette became pregnant with his child in 2017, leading to Pete and Samantha’s divorce later that year. Since the divorce, neither party has remarried and she has distanced herself from media attention.

Most of the attention during their marriage was focused on Pete anyway, which continued after the divorce. Despite his other relationships, he does not seem to be planning to remarry any time soon.

Her Ex-Husband Was Involved in Many Controversies

Samantha’s ex-husband has been involved in many controversies during his career. In 2015, during a live broadcast of Fox & Friends, Pete threw a double wooden axe that missed its target and hit the elbow of the drummer of West Point’s Hellcats, who narrowly missed being hit directly by the sharp end of the axe, but was still cut.

This was a breach of coordination between the band and Fox, as it had been agreed that axes should not be thrown during the band’s performance.

Pete was also the former executive director of another advocacy group, Concerned Veterans for America, funded by the billionaire Koch brothers. He hired his brother Philip and paid him USD 108 000 over the course of a year.

Samantha also spent a large part of the group’s funds on Christmas parties for family and friends – more than the group spent on candidates. He has also ridiculed the New York Times for not covering the capture of five ISIS leaders, despite the fact that it was the paper that first broke the story.
