Stormy Daniels’ parents have never publicly commented on her career choice. Despite their daughter being an award-winning p*rnstar, they have chosen to stay out of the limelight.
Stormy was born to Sheila and Bill Gregory on March 17, 1979, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She graduated from Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge in 1997.

In 2018, Daniels became embroiled in a legal dispute with US President Donald Trump and his former attorney Michael Cohen.
She alleged that Trump and his associate paid her $130,000 as hush money in exchange for her silence on the controversial “one-night stand.”
Since the beginning, Trump and his associates have blatantly denied Daniels’ accusations. Trump’s former lawyer even said that he paid the actress out of his money and that Trump had nothing to do with the payment.
Fortunately for Stormy, Michael Cohen admitted to paying her on Trump’s behalf and revealed that Mr. Trump refunded him for the payment he made to the p*rnstar.
On January 31, 2023, Trump appeared to admit the affair on Truth Social, his social media platform.
Exploring Stormy’s early life and career
Stormy is reportedly an only child. Her parents, Sheila and Bill Gregory, divorced three or four years after she was born.
After her parents’ divorce, Stormy was raised by her mother. She remained in her hometown for almost the next two decades and completed her high school education at Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge in 1997.
Daniels said she came “from an average lower-income household where she spent many days without electricity”. She said she grew up living in a horrible neighborhood.
The p*rnstar started her first job when she was just a high school student to support her expenses, and her job included answering phones in a riding school.
Stormy said she thought about pursuing a career in journalism when she graduated from high school.
The award-winning actress took her first step into the world of x-rated content at the age of 17.
Recalling that time, she said she visited a friend at a strip club where she was asked to perform a “guest set” to entertain the guests.
After seeking motivation from her guest set, she officially began stripping for money at the Gold Club in Baton Rouge.
In September 2000, three years after graduating from high school, she became a featured entertainer with Continental Theatrical Agency.
After officially becoming a stripper, she adopted the name ‘Stormy Daniels’ to reflect her love for American rock band Mötley Crüe, whose bassist, Nikki Sixx, named his daughter Storm.
2014 was the most important year of Stormy’s career, as she was inducted into the AVN and XRCO Hall of Fame. Her directorial work earned fourteen AVN Award nominations that year, including a nomination for “Best Safe S*x Scene.”

Daniels currently lives in Forney, Texas, while her mother Sheila, 64, a Trump supporter, still lives in Baton Rouge. Her father, Bill, 68, lives in San Deigo.
Sheila claimed Stormy hadn’t spoken to her in 12 years.
Bill Gregory told the “Inside Edition” TV channel that she hadn’t spoken to him in nearly 20 years. ‘I love Trump and I love my daughter’ he said in a two-part show that aired Thursday and Friday. “I don’t want to take sides. Too bad it has come to this.”
Shortly after Stormy and Trump’s alleged scandalous affair came to light, her estranged father shared photos of his daughter from high school.
The photos are right out of her high school yearbook and 1996 prom. According to Bill, Stephanie, aka Stormy, was going to be a vet when she started high school.
Speaking to a local news magazine, Bill said he is disappointed but not ashamed of his daughter’s choice of an adult film career.
After expressing his disappointment with Stormy’s career choice, he also appreciated her success. He said he is proud of her for being successful at what she does.
He says he misses his daughter, and cutting off contact was her decision.
“I didn’t stop talking to her,” he claimed. “She’s the one who cut ties with me and her mother.”
Stormy tied the knot four times in her life. Her first husband was Pat Myne, and their marriage lasted only three years, from 2003-2006.
After divorcing Pat, Stormy took another chance at love and married Mike Moz in 2007. However, that marriage also did not last long and the couple separated in 2009.
The third time is a charm, and the same thing happened to Stormy. She married her boyfriend, Glendon Crain, in 2010, and the couple have a daughter together. They separated in 2018, but this was Stormy’s longest-lasting marriage.
In 2022, she married p*rnstar Barrett Blade, and the couple live happily ever after.
