Prince Harry and his other half, Meghan, have come back into the limelight thanks to their Netflix show ‘Harry & Meghan’.

The creators of their Netflix show captured Prince Harry’s emotional reaction to a text from Prince William in footage that has gone viral on TikTok.

The couple, estranged from their family, were already in an emotional state when Queen Elizabeth II issued a statement in response to their interview with Oprah Winfrey in which she famously said, “memory may vary.”

Prince William’s viral post and the response it got from the couple was shown in Episode 6 of their Netflix show.

The pair sat together in what appears to be the office of their Montecito mansion, while the Duchess had their mutual friend Tyler Perry on speakerphone.

The prince then turned his phone screen to Meghan to show her the message he had received from Prince William. Unfortunately, the message was not visible to the cameras and the content of the message remains a secret to this day.

“What am I looking at? Wow,” said Megan. She then returned to her call and told Perry: “H just got a text from his brother.”

Without revealing the contents of the text message, Prince Harry said: “I wish I knew what to do.”

Seeing that her husband was so upset, Meghan tried to support him as best she could and asked him to get out into the fresh air, rest for a while and then decide what to do.

Meghan then gives Harry a long hug as the pair take a moment to process the contents of the text message.

A portion of the episode that only showed Harry and Meghan’s response to Prince Willaim’s text message was edited and made viral on TikTok.

The viral images have been viewed almost 1 million times and have 23.9 thousand likes. The video appears with the caption: “Meghan Markle giving H a big hug after receiving a harsh text from his brother Prince William shows her love for her husband.”

Meghan read the late Queen’s statement on the show: “The whole family is saddened to hear how challenging the past few years have been for Harry and Meghan.”

The Queen also said the issues raised, particularly race-related, are concerning. While some memories may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be discussed privately by the family. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be beloved family members.

Meanwhile, when asked to comment on the infamous interview during a royal visit that week, William said: “We’re not a racist family at all.”

The Netflix show doesn’t specify how Harry and Meghan felt about the Queen’s statement, and it’s not known if they felt reassured and comforted or if they felt it implicitly challenged their account of events.
