While still a registered player for Oklahoma City Thunder, he took advantage of the 2011 NBA lockout to sign an out-clause deal with Fenerbahçe Ulker in the Turkish Basketball League, which allowed him to represent Turkish outfits in Euro League games and still return to his mother team Oklahoma City Thunder. In the summer of 2014 Sefolosha signed with the Atlanta Hawks. In his first season with the Hawks, he spent most of his time on the sidelines due to injuries.
