Emilia Clarke (36) just can’t bring herself to do that! The Briton is best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the successful fantasy epic Game of Thrones. After the series ended in 2019, the prequel House of the Dragon finally got supplies for the fans last year. But despite the success, Emilia refuses to watch “House of the Dragon”!
“I just can’t do it,” the actress tells Variety. She finds looking at the history of her own character’s ancestors strange. The “Last Christmas” actress is happy that “House of the Dragon” exists and also about all the awards that the series has received. “It’s like someone asking me, ‘Would you like to go to the class reunion that isn’t about your year?’ That’s how it feels to me. That’s why I avoid it,” explains Emilia.
Only half a year ago, the 36-year-old spoke about a planned spin-off of “Game of Thrones”. It is said to be a sequel centered on Kit Harington’s (36) Jon Snow. “It will come. As far as I know, it was developed by Kit, so he was there from the beginning,” she said in an interview with the BBC.
