The hit HBO series follows the wildlife of a group of underage people who push their limits in all sorts of ways, sometimes putting their lives at risk – which is why the show is quite polarizing as a role model for younger viewers. Now Faye actress Chloe Cherry (25) has also been accused of a crime in real life: she is said to have committed shoplifting!
This is now reported by TMZ. According to this, Chloe is said to have stolen a blouse for 28 US dollars (25.70 euros) in a boutique in December – although she paid for other items as usual with her credit card. Video footage should show how the actress enters the dressing room with the blouse and leaves it without the garment. The police were then called in and Chloe admitted taking the blouse before handing it back to the officer. A retail petty theft charge followed. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for March 1st.
But although there appears to be evidence, Chloe today denies the allegations. The model’s rep told the media: “In December there was a mix-up over a blouse that was not properly charged to my client’s credit card. She has not admitted in any way to having taken the blouse as it was not .” The rep continued, “This story seems more about a local business trading in a celebrity’s name than anything else…”
