The film was produced by Robert Daley in a film production collaboration in which the Malpaso Company and Universal Pictures merged. Verna Bloom plays the role of Sarah Belding, the wife of local hotel owner Lewis Belding (Ted Hartley).

The following year, she was the star of the film Where Have All the People Gone? Together with Kathleen Quinlan and Peter Graves.
