Born on February 18, 1967 in the Tondo district of Manila, Boybits Victoria was the fourth child in a family of nine siblings. His parents, both factory workers, had financial problems, but they preferred to give their children a good education.
Boybits showed a passion for basketball at an early age and started playing the sport. This passion continued into his high school years at Jose Abad Santos High School where he further honed his skills.
He eventually pursued a higher education at the University of Santo Tomas where he played basketball at the collegiate level.
Despite his busy schedule, Boybits always put his family first and was known as a loving and caring father. He regularly spent quality time with his children, taking them on vacation and attending school events.
Boybits Victoria cause of death
At the age of 50, Boybits Victoria suffered an acute myocardial infarction and died on March 1, 2023. It was revealed that he had been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 2018.
Boybits was pronounced dead at 6:55 p.m. at San Juan De Dios Hospital in Manila. His cremation is scheduled for March 5, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Loyola Memorial Chapels and Crematorium in Sucat.
His son Nathan shared the news of Boybits passing on social media. Uichicho tweeted his grief describing Boybits as an incredible 6th man for the SMB teams.
