Rúrik Gíslason (35) is still raving about his Let’s Dance participation. In 2020, the Icelandic national player hung up his football boots and exchanged them for dance shoes the next year, in which he swept across the floor with Renata Lusin (35). And it was extremely successful – after all, the two won the season of the popular dance show furios. The whole would Rurik would love to experience it again!
“Let’s Dance again? Absolutely! If I’m allowed to, but I don’t think I’m allowed to”he explains to RTL. The show is simply something very special, which is why the athlete tunes in every week for the current season – and will even be in the audience at the next show. “On ‘Let’s Dance’ there is only a good mood. There is so much positivity and that’s good for everyone!” He clarifies enthusiastically.
But has Rurik because in the current season also a clear favorite among the participants like Anna Ermakova (23), Mimi Kraus (39) and Co. chosen? “It’s so great to see the candidates progress week by week. I have no idea who’s going to win because they’re all good.”, he explains diplomatically. He respects all candidates and their achievements very much.
