Andre Ingram was born on November 19, 1985, in Richmond, Virginia. One sport that has always fascinated him is basketball, which he started playing as a child. For his high school education, Andre was enrolled at Highland Springs High School in Virginia. With 608 rebounds, he took second place with 184 steals and third place with a total of 336 assists. The Perth Wildcats (an Australian professional basketball team in Perth) was the next team he signed with on October 18, 2016, which also marked his first contract signing abroad.

However, after just one week with the team, in which he only played two games, Andre applied to be released from his contract due to mental health problems.
