Damian Lillard Wife, Height, Weight, Girlfriend, Kids, Brother, Is He Gay?
There’s no better way to make yourself known to the public than to achieve something that only two legendary players from the past managed to do in their NBA debut. Damian Lillard did just that by joining Oscar Robertson and Allen Iverson, who were the only ones to score at least 20 points and 10 assists in their first professional game. Lillard, who was unanimously voted NBA Rookie of the Year in 2013, is well on his way into the Hall of Fame, but there are a few more boxes to check before he can enter the Hall of Fame.
Damian Lillard Early Life And Education
Damian Lillard was born on July 15, 1990, as Damian Lamonte Ollie Lillard in Oakland, California, where he also grew up. Already at a very young age, Lillard had the hope to play professional basketball. For this reason, he decided to leave his first high school in the second year and attend the private St. Joseph Notre Dame High School, which is known for its growing talents. One of them was a ten-time NBA All-Star, Jason Kidd. Due to lack of playing time, however, Lillard was on the move again and transferred to Oakland High School, where he completed his last two years of high school.

As high school juniors in Oakland, Lillard averaged 19.4 points per game. In his senior year, he increased his average to 22.4 points per game, earning a scholarship to Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. The new point guard took the Big Sky Conference by storm and was voted “Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year” with an average of 11.5 points per game and was also voted the first team in the All-Big Sky selection. In his second year of college, Lillard led his team to the Regular Season Conference Championship with 19.9 points per game season, earning him the title of “Big Sky Player of the Year”.

Damian Lillard had to put on a medical redshirt after only 10 games in his junior year after a foot injury. When Lillard returned to the team in the 2011/12 season, it was as if he had never left the team. He achieved an average score of 24.5 points, earning his second Big Sky Player of the Year award and his third selection for the first team to play in the All-Conference Team. Because Lillard was the best point guard contender in the country, he decided to give up his senior year to compete in the NBA draft, where he was selected by the Portland Trailblazers and the rest became history.
Who Is His Wife Or Girlfriend? Kids
Damian Lillard has been in a relationship with Kayla Hanson for so long that many reports refer to her as his wife, although they are not yet married. The two are said to have met while visiting Weber State University, where Hanson was a medical student and Lillard played in their basketball program before he was drafted by the Trailblazers.

Ms. Hanson, who is an avid user of social media, was born on November 8, 1991. She is originally from Las Vegas, where she attended Legacy High School before moving to Utah to attend college. It’s not clear if Hanson was able to complete her education before moving in with her ballerina boyfriend, but the couple seems very happy together and has already welcomed a third member into the family, a son named Damian Jr. who was born on March 29, 2018.

Brother
Damian Lillard has two brothers; an older brother named Houston Lillard and a younger half-brother named Jahrell Lillard. Houston, like his younger brother, is an athlete who plays soccer as a quarterback in the lesser-known indoor soccer league. It is not clear what Lillard’s youngest son does, but he made the headlines in March 2018 after he was shot dead during a confrontation with two men in the parking lot of a shopping mall. Jahrell was then taken to the hospital, where he received immediate and appropriate medical care to help him survive the injuries.
Is Damian Lillard Gay?
Anti-gay slurs have recently become a way of insulting people, as Damian Lillard found out in December 2017 when some fans threw such words at him as he boarded the team’s bus after a game. Regardless of what people may think about Lillard’s sexual orientation, the point guard is definitely not gay, as can be seen from the fact that he has started to start a family with his girlfriend.
His Height And Weight
Damian Lillard’s height is listed as 6 feet 3 inches or 1.91 m while his weight is listed at 195 pounds or 88 kg.
