Andrea Anders is a talented American actress who has become a fan favorite through her breathtaking performances in films and television shows. The screen star began her professional career as an actress in 1999 with a supporting role in the long-running ABC soap “One Life to Live”. Since then she has appeared in several other television series and films. Some of the most notable series she has appeared in include Joey, The Class, Better Off Ted, and Mr. Sunshine.

Andrea Anders – Biography

The beautiful actress was born on May 10, 1975, in Madison, Wisconsin, USA, as Andrea Anders. She comes from an American family and grew up in Wisconsin with her brother Sean and a sister, Torrie. There is not much information about her childhood. However, we do know that she came from an entertainment-oriented family and was enthusiastic about becoming an actress at a very young age.

As a child, Anders attended DeForest Area High School in Wisconsin and graduated in 1993. She then enrolled at the University o Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where she earned a degree in Fine Arts in 1997. In search of more knowledge, Andrea also attended Rutgers University, where she received a master’s degree in 2001.

Before earning her Master’s degree, Anders was able to begin her acting career in 1998 with the role of Elaine in several episodes of the ABC series “One Life to Live”. Two years after she left Rutgers University, her acting career began in earnest.

Career – Movies and TV Shows

Throughout her professional career, Andrea Anders has appeared in a handful of television shows as well as films. She was cast in the 2003 drama series OZ by Tom Fontana, and the following year she made her big-screen debut while appearing alongside Nicole Kidman and Matthew Broderick in the science fiction horror comedy The Stepford Wives. Later that year she also appeared as Emma Leeds in the TV pilot News To Me and as Kathy in Tru Calling. She earned her first lead role in the NBC series, Joey. There she portrayed the recurring role of Alexis Garrett alongside her future partner Mac LeBlanc from 2004 to 2006.

In 2005 the actress played the role of Christian BandSlut in Never Been Thawed, an independent film directed by her brother Sean Anders. She then joined the cast of the sitcom Die Klasse, in which she played the role of Nicole Allen until 2007. In 2008 Andrea had a guest appearance in Numb3rs and also played the role of Brandy in Sex Drive. The film also features Josh Zuckerman, Amanda Crew, and Seth Green in the cast.

Andrea Anders then played the role of Linda Zwordling, a recurring character in the satirical ABC sitcom “Better Off Ted” from 2009 to 2010, followed by a role in another popular sitcom called Mr. Sunshine and Necessary Roughness in 2011. She received much attention for her first-rate performance as Trish in the drama Return to Zero along with Minnie Driver, Sarah Jones, and Kathy Baker.

Other notable films include About a Boy (2014-15), in which she portrayed Joanne, Modern Family (2014-15), in which she played the role of Amber LaFontain, and Speechless (2016), in which she was cast as Audrey. Others include 9JKL and Young Sheldon, both in 2018, and Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase (2019).

The actress was previously in a long-term relationship with her Joey co-star Matt LeBlanc. Matt is a multi-talented actor, comedian, and television presenter best known for his role as Joey in Friends; a role he picked up again in Joey. He also plays the lead role in “Man with a Plan”, where he is also the executive producer.

The couple met on Joey’s set in 2004, where they played the lead in Man with a Plan. After a while, they decided to get along well and started a romantic relationship in 2005. They enjoyed a blissful relationship for almost 9 years before they called it over. The couple announced that they would separate in 2015. After their separation, Matt moved on to another relationship, while nothing is known of Andreas’s other relationships.
